Application for Experimental License ELS File # 0512-EX-PL-2012 Intelsat License LLC DESCRIPTION OF APPLICATION FOR EXPERIMENTAL LICENSE Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) requests an experimental license for a period of two years to conduct in-flight demonstration and operation of two Ku-band satellite earth station terminal types in connection with the continued development and implementation of service to U.S. Government customers. I. FREQUENCY, POWER AND EMISSION DATA The table below lists the technical parameters for AMSS operations under the proposed experimental license: Frequency Max Power (ERP) Emission Designator 14000-14500 MHz 12162 W 4M99G7W 14000-14500 MHz 15310 W 4M99G7W II. LOCATION The mobile terminals will operate in the following locations: CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and possessions, as well as international and foreign airspace. III.
