As part of the certification testing, transmission to the WGS satellites is required (7.9—8.4 GHz and 30—31 GHz band). During the certification testing, the terminals will be owned and operated by commercial entities. While ARSTRAT provides authorization to access the WGS satellite, experimental licenses for transmission from the ground terminals are being sought. Please accept this letter as a statement of support by our department for these terminal certification activities. Please feel free to contact meif needed.
