Intel will be demonstrating RF transmitters operating in the 3400-3500 MHz band and will need to perform over the air transmissions. This is a government owned in the US and will require an experimental license or STA prior to operation.

Intel will be demonstrating usage models for the newly adopted WiMAX, 802.16e (Mobile WiMAX) standard to the World-Wide Sales and Marketing force of Intel. This will be done indoors only at the Anaheim Convention Center, 2nd Floor where various kiosks will represent all Intel technologies, WiMax being one of them. The equipment is being developed exclusively for use outside the United States.
