Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Honeywell would like to perform experimental testing with a developmental W-band imaging sensor between 11/1/14 and 6/1/15. We are requesting permission to radiate at and in the surrounding areas (mobile) of multiple Honeywell and Honeywell partner test facility locations. This testing will be used to support a demonstration planned for the Army in 2015.

Ground and flight testing using a developmental sensor to collect data on potential helicopter obstacles. Ground and flight testing using a developmental sensor to collect data on potential helicopter obstacles such as powerlines, towers and other takeoff and landing obstructions through degraded visual environments (i.e. dust, fog).
