Description of Transaction and Public Interest Statement This assignment application implements the decision of Hewlett Packard Company (“HP”) to separate into two new publicly-traded Fortune 50 companies: one comprising HP’s enterprise technology infrastructure, software, services and financing businesses, which will do business as Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company, and one that will comprise HP’s personal systems and printing businesses, which will do business as Hewlett Packard Company until on or about November 1, 2015, when it will change its name to HP Inc., and it will retain the current FRN and tax identification of Hewlett Packard Company. Specifically, this application seeks FCC approval for the assignment of experimental license WH2XSD held in the name of Hewlett Packard Company to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (FRN 0024719056). Grant of this application will serve the public interest as it will allow Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company to continue with ongoing experimental operations with the same personnel.
