AMENDMENT

Harris Corporation ("Harris") hereby submits this amendment to its experimental Special
Temporary Authority (“STA”) request filed under #1549-EX-ST-2017. With this
amendment Harris is revising the requested frequencies to avoid encumbered aeronautical
spectrum. Harris is requesting experimental usage on the frequencies of 4430 MHz, 4530
MHz, 4700 MHz, 4930 MHz, and 5850-5925 MHz.

As previously noted, the STA will be utilized to support experimental testing and
development of a multi-channel handheld platform unit. The proposed testing will test
advancements of existing waveforms as well as new, higher data rate waveforms. The
experiment will utilize one base station radio and up to 6 mobile radios sending a
combination of voice, data, telephony, and video transmissions. Testing will occur on a
fixed/mobile radius surrounding Harris’ facility located in Rochester, NY. All
experimental testing will be conducted in conjunction with the development of
equipment utilized by US Military forces.
