REQUEST TO WITHDRAW APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY
AUTHORIZATION

HNS License Sub, LLC (collectively with its affiliates, “Hughes”) requests to withdraw
its application for special temporary authorization (“STA”) filed on May 13, 2015 (File No.
0522-EX-ST-2015). On May 16, 2015, the Mexsat-1 satellite failed to launch successfully.
Consequently, the requested STA is no longer required at this time, and Hughes will re-file its
application when appropriate.
