Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Hughes License Sub, LLC (Call Sign WE2XEW; File No. 0100—EX—ML—2008) Dear Mr. Burtle: On behalf of Hughes License Sub, LLC ("Hughes"), this letter notifies the FCC, pursuant to Section 5.77 of the Commission‘s Rules (47 C.F.R. §5.77), that Hughes has commenced operation of mobile satellite antennas permitted by the above—referenced license using an r.f carrier not specifically listed in the referenced authorization. In particular, Hughes is now testing aeronautical mobile Earth station antennas employing the emission designator 1M60G7D. Because these operations are conducted over a narrower bandwidth and at a lower authorized power than permitted by Hughes‘s license for such terminals under Call Sign WE2XEW, and otherwise conform to the specific conditions placed on the experimental license, the change in emission will not exceed the maximum emissions envelope authorized in the existing license, consistent with Section 5.77(b) of the Rules. See 47 C.F.R. § 5.797(b). Please associate this notification with Hughes‘s license under Call Sign WE2XEW, and do not hesitate to contact the undersigned counsel if you have any questions concerning this notification.
