The equipment listed in this application appears to be designed to operate under Part 15 of the FCC?s
rules. Is the reason that the application has been filed because the equipment has not been approved
(the application says prototype) and that it will be operated in a residential environment, thus not allowed
to be operated under 47CFR2.803(e)(1)(v) & (e)(3)(i)?

Response:

This is correct. The equipment is designed to operate under Part 15 but has not yet been approved. The
testing will occur in a residential environment, which is not allowed without authorization under 47 CFR
2.803(e)(1)(v).
