Message:

According to the NTIA Manual, http://1.usa.gov/1y9s0P6, Section 9.8.2.16, applicant "...will provide a full
explanation for the selection of the letter X unless the application is for a non-directional beacon in the
bands 190-435 and 510-535 kHz." Two of your emissions contain "X" as the second character. In
practice, we have found it considerably difficult to get emissions with "X" in them through the NTIA
approval process, no matter what the explanation is. You can provide the explanation and we’ll see
where it goes, or you can change or delete these emissions. Let this office know how you would like to
proceed.

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of January 23, 2015 may result in
application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
