Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The application seeks an STA to operate a digital telemetry transmitter and receiver test network for the purpose of observing the behavior of a tactical telemetry kit. A single digital transmitter will be installed on a small UAS during flight tests at Elliot Field in Dawsonville, GA. A single digital receiver will be installed in a fixed location at the same location. A small single-board computer (National Instruments sbRIO-9627) will produce analog playback of real analog data from the HAWK Missile, which will be digitized prior to transmission. Transmission will occur within the 2.2-2.4 GHz frequency range. Data recorded by the digital receiver will be analyzed to evaluate the impact of multipath, interference, and other propagation impairments. Test objectives include selection of optimum transmit frequency, evaluation of A/D hardware, and evaluation of the range of the transmit/receive pairing.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  This test will provide configuration confidence prior to deploying the transmitter, A/D, antenna, and receiver system during a live-fire test of the HAWK missile.
