Subject: Request for Info - File # 0363-EX-CN-2017
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

You have stated that this application is for an amateur project. If this is so, you should be filing for a Part
97 amateur license instead of a Part 5 experimental license. If you don’t qualify for an amateur license,
then you will need to submit an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis demonstrating that you will
not interfere with licensed services; IARU coordination only applies to amateur licenses. An example of
an acceptable EMC analysis is the exhibit entitled "Exhibit C Interference Study" in Experimental
Licensing System file number 0026-EX-ST-2018.

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of January 26, 2018 may result in
application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
