Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary to make measurements for two sponsored research projects that will end September 30, 2004. Within this timeframe, the campus buildings we want to measure will be available only in May. Also, the STA differs slightly from amendment request: 0076-EX-ML-2003 (which would amend the license 0254-ex-pl-2002). The differences with the amendment are as follows: (1) power level - the STA asks for almost 1dB more ERP in the 6 GHz-6.5GHz band, (2) the STA asks for only the 6 GHz band while the amendment asks for two: 6 GHz and 17 GHz, and (3) the STA changes one large area into two smaller ones and the STA adds two rural locations, one in Georgia and one in Alabama.
