As this is the first time we have integrated the toll module within our rearview mirror, extensive testing is needed to optimize performance in a “real” world setting. For engineering and development purposes, the product will need to be tested both on the Gentex business campus in Zeeland, Michigan; as well as on toll roads throughout the United States to confirm the acceptable performance before we can finalize the design. For this reason, Gentex requests a US nationwide license to test the toll module on toll roads within the United States to assess the product design and performance.
