Joseph Cheung General Dynamics C4 Systems 8201 E McDowell Rd Scottsdale AZ 85257 (650) 350 0921 Joseph.cheung@gd-ms.com General Dynamics C4 Systems Experimental License Exhibit 1 The requested experimental license is to enable General Dynamics C4 Systems (“General Dynamics”) to conduct integration and test activities of an LTE cellular system operating in 3GPP Band Class 14 in a General Dynamics facility. The outdoor test configuration contains a 3-sector LTE cell site installed on a deployable mast or aerostat, and a number of LTE user equipment in different form factors. The indoor test configuration will be laboratory bench testing of various configurations. All tests will be conducted within 10km around General Dynamics facility CERDEC Ground Activity, Range 1 Fort Dix, 395 Hockamick Road, Cookstown NJ 08511. General Dynamics has informed FirstNet regarding this request. A supporting letter is submitted as a separate attachment. General Dynamics is the manufacturer of end-to-end 3GPP compliant LTE equipment including user equipment, eNodeB (3GPP terminology for base stations), and Evolved Packet Core (EPC). The system configuration will consist of mobile user equipment as well as a transportable and rapidly deployable eNodeB configuration. The system included in this application is capable of operating across the public safety 700MHz band in the United States (termed band class 14 in 3GPP) in both 5MHz and 10MHz bandwidths.
