Given the message below and our telephone conversation, we are requesting the following two valid
UHF SATCOM channels (302.445 and 302.835 MHz) in our FCC STA, even though they have not yet
been allocated to us or this event (NPS JIFX 16-3).

I will include this email thread to our FCC STA application, since you are our Sponsor for this effort and
can be contacted at 805-227-1311 x2.

The satellite frequencies will need to be obtained by the vendor General Dynamics Mission Systems.

I spoke with Jon Wooten and I suggest going to FCC letting them know NPS is the sponsor to get a stay

for the frequencies they nominated. SFAF_243: 4 (four) frequencies please: 251.900 MHz, 255 MHz,
250 MHz, 275MHz

folks,

based on today’s NPS/GD/NAVAIR call, here are my modifications to the frequency forms i provided
earlier (listed by form name).

SFAF_118.5: none. remove this request please

SFAF_243: 4 (four) frequencies please: 251.900 MHz, 255 MHz, 250 MHz, 275MHz

SFAF_225: 2 (two) frequencies please. whatever satellite channels can be acquired by

NPS/JIFX/NAVAIR.   These are 25MHz channels, not 5MHz, as stated on the form.

SFAF_406: one frequency: 406.028 MHz.   we will coordinate with NOAA.

i will send updated forms later today.

please let me know any response from Camp Roberts Spectrum Management and if there is a name i
can use as the sponsor on our FCC STA form.
