Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We plan to test the radar equipment as part of the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) tests to be performed at the Nevada Automotive Test Center. This radar is very similar to the radar with call sign WG2XIE except for the increase power to 25 Watts.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The testing planned is part of a vehicle upgrade evaluation, being performed for the Canadian Department of National Defense under contract W8476-090915/001/UA LRSS Upgrade with General Dynamics. Included in the vehicle tests are tests involving sensors and the radar system described in this application.
