Dear Sir/Madam: This memo provides the description of the government program regarding the General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4S) experimental license application, #0488-EX-PL-2009. The government program is called Integrated Wireless Network, or IWN. This is a program for the Department of Justice (DOJ), under Contract Number DJJ06-C-1410 / DJJ1410-0004, to provide a nationwide VHF trunked LMR radio system. This project will require that GDC4S configure a radio lab (with associated equipment) to be used to perform system design, functional verification, and troubleshooting of field problems.
