Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A STA is needed to demonstrate the capabilities of a prospective communications system to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) under an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) project. This demonstration would require UHF radio transmission of existing, FCC certified, COTS equipment within a specified area.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstration of LMR Interoperability capabilities of the CrossComm system to USCG. Demonstrate LMR Interoperability capabilities of the CrossComm system to show the USCG how seamless communications between disparate systems operated by other Federal/Civil law enforcement agencies could enhance inter-agency cooperation and mission execution.
