To whom it may concern:

The purpose of this document is to provide additional information to help process the application. This
frequency authorization application (STA) is intended to cover the entire state of California in efforts to
support San Diego Fire and Rescue. In detail, it is a communications link between air and ground however,
the physical location is not known since a wildfire may occur anywhere in the state of California. Therefore
the locations stated in this application are approximate and not given with any certainty. The ground
antenna is a temporary installation on a rugged tripod and only 1.5 meters off the ground. Please feel
free to ask any questions that will help you understand what we plan to do, thank you.
