General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Exhibit for Experimental License Application File no. 0019-EX-ML-2016 1 REQUESTED CHANGES IN THIS AMENDMENT The only change is adding 2 new locations, one in North Dakota and one in the Pacific Ocean West of San Diego. No change was done to the used frequencies or emissions 2 PURPOSE OF THE NEW LOCATIONS 2.1 PACIFIC OCEAN WEST OF SAN DIEGO The radar will be utilized for due regard missions over water, so this area will allow for testing the radar in similar environments 2.2 NORTH DAKOTA LOCATION GA-ASI has started a training academy in Grand Forks in order to meet growing aircrew training requirements for Unmanned Aircraft Systems. We plan to conduct training in support of current and future U.S. Government contracted flight activities. As such, we will need to fly in the surrounding airspace near Grand Forks. Part of this activity is training on the airborne Due Regard Radar. The radar will be utilized for flights going up to 30,000 feet AGL. Page 1 of 1 GA-ASI Proprietary Information
