For both the mobile (aircraft) and fixed (Ground Data terminal) equipment.

The only technical change for all of the above items is their operating frequency, Ku Band
instead of the currently licensed C Band.

Transmitter power output, modulation characteristics, spurious emissions etc. are identical.

We have developed the Ku Band alternative to allow operation where there is overcrowding of
the C Band frequencies or where operation in other parts of the world is not allowed on C Band
frequencies.
