     As a manufacturer and supplier of Earth Terminal Equipment, as well as a
     supplier of Internet capability through its subsidiary, NetSat Express, Inc.,
     Globecomm is constantly developing and testing new applications for its
     customers. These include wireless access using VSAT to access corporate LANs,
     the Internet, and other types of wide area networking applications from areas
     where alternative methods of access are not available.

b)   The grant of this application will permit short duration transmission and
     reception, point—to—point and multi—point, from various points in the Continental
     United States with Globecomm‘s licensed facility in Hauppague, New York. The
     facilities proposed in the application will first be operated from Beeville, Texas.

    Dear Mr. Young:

          Globecomm Systems, Inc. ("Globecomm"), by its attorney, hereby amends its
   application for an experimental authorization, FCC File Number 6234—EX—PL—1998, to reflect
   that the proposed facilities will transmit in the 14.0—14.5 Mhz band and receive in the 11.7—
   12.2 Mhz band. An amended page 2 of FCC Form 442 is included. Please amend
   Globecomm‘s Special Temporary Authority request to reflect this change, as well.
