Application ( Supplement to Question #10) a) As a manufacturer and supplier of Earth Terminal Equipment, as well as a supplier of Internet capability through its subsidiary, NetSat Express Inc., Globecomm is constantly developing and testing new applications for our customers .These include wireless access using V—SAT to access corporate LANs, the Internet, and other types of wide area networking applications from arcas where alternative methods of access are not available. b) The granting of this application will permit short duration transmission and reception, point to point and muiltipoint from the licensed fixed Globecomm facility in Hauppauge NY to various facilities via mobile equipment, The specific objectives to be accomplished will include verification of network optimization, configuration, and performance with specific emphasis on the impact of satellite delays on various protocols using high speed data rates of over 64kbps.
