non-profit educational institution and is exempt from the license renewal fee. Georgia
Tech is part of the University System of Georgia which is an instrumentality or political
subdivision of the State of Georgia. Its status may be confirmed by checking Georgia
Tech•s Employer Identification number which is 58:6002023.
