profit educational institution and is exempt from the license renewal fee. Georgia Tech is
a part of the University System of Georgia which is an instrumentality or political
subdivision of the State of Georgia. Georgia Tech’s non-profit status may be confirmed
by checking Georgia Tech’s Employer Identification number which is 58:6002023.
