Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)

Fujitsu is requesting an experimental license for our 28GHz Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
Transmit/Receive Unit (TRU) device and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) device based on the generic
test scenario below for MicroServices.

The experimental testing will be performed at the Fujitsu MEF-18 Event Booth at JW Marriott LA Live
Hotel, 900 West Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90015. The purpose of the testing is show FWA
TRU-CPE to provide and monitor L3 service to a customer location and show bandwidth can be
increased or reduced based on customer’s demand and reconfigure to provide the appropriate
bandwidth. The test configuration below will be set up at the MEF-18 Event in Los Angeles, CA from Oct
29 through Nov 2, 2018.

This testing objective is verify uplink/downlink throughput up to 1.3Gbps using 28GHz frequency and a
microservice software bandwidth adjustment capability. This testing will provide service providers such
as MNO, MSOs, etc ability to offer end customers higher capacity.
