Response to FCC’s Reason for modification (1/5/2015)

Fujitsu’s application #0247‐EX‐ML‐2014, is requesting modification of original experimental license
request (0423‐EX‐PL‐2014) to add a new test case between two new locations. As described below,
Fujitsu will generate a test signal between two GX4000 E‐Band Radio station locations. Location 1 is
located at 900 E. Lookout Drive, Richardson, Texas (Latitude: 32 deg, 59 min, 7 second; Longitude: ‐96
deg, 42 min, 35 second) and Location 2 is located at 2791 Telecom Parkway, Richardson, Texas (Latitude:
32 deg, 59 min, 22 second; Longitude: ‐96 deg, 39 min, 25 seconds)



GX4000 Field Test Signal Experiment

The purpose of the GX4000 Field Test Signal is to capture performance results of the radio link in actual
environmental elements over a 60 day window. Data collected will be reviewed against analysis data to
verify performance over the 3 mile distance. This information will provide a contribution to
understanding wireless path designs.
