        Hi Linda;

I received this communication from Harold Friesenhahn as part of the frequency
coordination process. I am not intimately familiar with your demo equipment,
however I would much rather you operate your demo on another frequency. KVDA's
NTSC transmitter operates on UHF Channel 60 (746 - 752 MHz) at 5 MW ERP.
Even though your proposed ERP is low, it does present the possibility of interfering
with our signal in an area around your demonstration site. Also, I am sure your
demonstration would be degraded somewhat. Please confirm that you will not
operate this vehicle on Channel 60 in San Antonio.

        Thanks,

        Roger Topping

            Linda,

We do have a full power transmitter operating on channel 60 (KVDA) in
       San Antonio.

Therefore you will cause interference to the Channel 60 over the air signal.

            Harold Friesenhahn

              Harold,

Flarion Technologies has filed for an STA with the FCC to demonstrate
our broadband mobile IP technology in San Antonio, TX scheduled
for October 10-16. The demo involves our COLT (Cell on Light Truck)
which will be parked at the Four Points Sheraton for the Texas APCO
Conference. The COLT operates on a 1.25 MHz Channel in the 747-762
MHz band with 20 watts ERP. The demo will utilize several mobiles
operating on a paired channel in the 777-792 MHz band with 600
              milliwatts ERP.

The COLT antennas are mounted on a mast extendable to 40 feet above
              ground level.

The actual demo is scheduled for October 13-15. The COLT will arrive
              on October 10 for testing.

Please let me know if you have any concerns/questions regarding this
demo. I would appreciate an email reply so I can document our
frequency coordination process.

Thank you for your consideration.

Linda Plesnik
