STA 0052-EX-ST-2007 is scheduled to expire September 1, 2007 and STA 0169-EX-ST-2007 is scheduled to expire October 1, 2007. During the terms of the prior STAs, Ericsson has encountered and complied with unanticipated transmission restrictions in order to address the interference concerns of BAS licensees and government users. As a result, Ericsson has been unable to complete its planned experiment in its expected time frame. For this reason, an additional 6 months is necessary for Ericsson to complete its experiment. In any extension, Ericsson will continue to comply with the conditions applicable in its current STAs and remains committed to ensuring that its experimental operations do not cause harmful interference to either BAS or government users.
