Mr. Colligan:

Subject: Response for FAA Coordination for ERA‘s Airport Vehicle ADS—B system transmitting at
1090 Mhz located within Boston Logan Airport. Devices will be installed in Massport plow vehicles
for experimental testing.

The FAA concurs with your proposed experimental application provided:

1. Emitters are limited to 2 vehicles, with ERP limited to 20 watts peak output per vehicle.

2. Authorized use of these emitters is limited to airport surfaces within secured airport area.

3. FAA concurrence is limited to Non—Interference with any existing or future FAA systems. The
applicant agrees to accept any future modifications to their operation as directed by the FAA to
include ceasing operations, or adding frequency/ power restrictions so that future FAA operational
requirements can be supported.

4. These conditions must be listed in the license issued by the FCC.

Failure to comply with any of these conditions will render a non—concur by the FAA to the
issuance of the requested experimental license. Provided that the applicant can and agrees to
adhering to the above conditions, please provide the FAA coordination number NG TO70398
along with a copy of this letter to the FCC for them to include in the application provided to the
NTIA
