This information is provided to answer FCC Form 442, Question 7. a. Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC) is a world leader in providing commercial pulse weather radar solutions. Experimentation includes design of new and enhancement of existing capabilities for components of radar transmitters, receivers, signal processors, antennas and feed systems, including emphasis on polar metric antenna design. General theory based on well-known commercial Doppler weather radar techniques is utilized in the research and development/experimental. b. Objectives of research and development taken at EEC is related to X-band, C-band, and S-band pulse weather radar transmitters to enhance the state of the art technology in radar transmitters and receivers. c. EEC has a 30+ year record of innovation, historically making significant and steady progress in technology development, including: • first computer controlled weather radar • first commercial Doppler weather radar • first commercial simultaneous dual polarized weather radar. Our historical trade record is proven as a leader and innovator. Our ongoing and future efforts will continue to build on our past success.
