Echodyne Corp. Application for Renewal of Part 5 Experimental License WI2XKY ELS File No. 0321-EX-CR-2018 NARRATIVE STATEMENT Pursuant to Sections 5.3(j) and 5.54 of the Federal Communications Commission’s rules, Echodyne Corp. hereby respectfully seeks to renew its existing experimental license issued under call sign WI2XKY for an additional term of two years. Renewal of the license will allow Echodyne to continue testing its MESA-DAA, which is an airborne detect and avoid radar, and the MESA-SSR, which is a ground-based version of the same radar. The testing will enable Echodyne to validate and improve the performance of the radar in various settings. By this renewal application, Echodyne seeks authority to continue tests at the locations included in the existing license. All the terms of the license remain unchanged. In the event that the company receives a complaint of harmful interference resulting from the proposed operation, Echodyne will take immediate action to address the interference, including if necessary discontinuing its operations. The company has designated Mr. Jeff Finan, whose contact information is provided below, to act as the “stop buzzer” for this purpose.
