                    STATEMENT _OF INTENDED USE OF A
              TRANSPORTABLE LAND—BASED INMARSAT TERMINAL



SeaRiver Maritime, Inc., an affiliate of Exxon Communications
Ccompany, reqularly transports petroleum or petroleum products
worldwide.  Exxon has a need for adequate and reliable
communications for the safety of the personnel involved.

The portable INMARSAT terminal will be used at temporary
locations within the Continental United States for training and
pre departure testing of shipboard personnel and systens.

                      STATEMENT OF OWNERSHIP OF A
              TRANSPORTABLE LAND—BASED INMARSAT TERMINAL




       Applicant furnishes non—profit communications service to
       it‘s parent corporation and/or to other subsidiaries of
       the same parent.   SeaRiver Maritime,   Inc.,   an Exxon
       subsidiary, will own the radio equipment over which Exxon
       Communications Company will have control to provide
       communications for the specific activities shown on this
       application.
