                        Attachment to FCC STA Application
                        Request for Special Temporary Authority

On behalf of ESPN Productions, Inc. ("ESPN"), this letter requests Special Temporary Authority
("STA") to operate in the 2.2 GHz band, specifically frequencies centered at 2264 MHz and 2274 MHz
with an 8 MHz bandwidth in order to operate wireless roaming cameras where hard wiring is not possible
due to safety concerns in connection with ESPN‘s live coverage of the 2017 U.S. Tennis Open from August
22, 2017 through September 21, 2017 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing,
NY 11368. ESPN has monitored the requested frequencies to insure that there is no interference with local
            licensed users.

Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the New York City area, coupled with the additional
congestion from traditional television and news coverage of this event with national interest, ESPN
requests the use of the 2.2 GHz frequency band. These frequencies will be used for wireless roaming
cameras where hard wiring is not possible due to safety reasons. Operations on the proposed frequencies
will be monitored on a 24—hour basis, and it is understood that authorization is secondary in nature.

Grant of this STA request would serve the public interest by enabling ESPN to provide live video
of this event with national interest.

The applicant hereby certifies that no party of this application is subject to denial of federal
benefits pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti—Drug Abuse Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. §853(a).

If there are any questions concerning this request, please contact Kenneth Gordon of the ESPN,
Inc. Legal Department at (860) 766—3439 (Facsimile 860—766—2423) and for questions of a technical nature,
please contact Dana Underhill at (860) 766—2278.

                                                                   Very truly yours,

                                                                   On behalf of
                                                                   ESPIQ Productions, Inc

Our Mission: To Serve Sports Fans. Anytime. Anywhere
