On behalf of ESPN Productions, Inc. ("ESPN"), this letter requests Special Temporary Authority ("STA") to
operate in UHF frequencies 488 to 494 MHz and 500 to 506 MHz in order to coordinate event emergencies,
transportation, security and safety conditions in connection with ESPN‘s live coverage of the 2016 U.S. Tennis Open to

potential safety hazards and the need for effective radio communications for coordination are necessary. Frequency
distribution will be utilized for operations, production, security, crowd management and first aid coordination‘s.
Operations on the proposed frequencies will be monitored on a 24—hour basis, and it is understood that authorization is
  secondary in nature.

ESPN has coordinated this use of this spectrum with the SBE Frequency Coordinator of record for the Greater
New York area and has received approval.

The applicant hereby certifies that no party of this application is subject to denial of federal benefits pursuant
  to Section 5301 of the Anti—Drug Abuse Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. §853(a).
