Nothing contained herein shall be construed as a finding by the Commission that the authority herein granted is or will be in the public interest beyond the express terms hereof. This special temporary authorization shall not vest in the grantee any right to operate the station nor any right in the use of the frequencies designated in the authorization beyond the term hereof, nor in any other manner than authorized herein. Neither the authorization nor the right granted hereunder shall be agsigned or otherwise transferred in violation of the Communications Act of 1934. This authorization is subject to the right of use of control by the Government of the United States conferred by Section 706 of the Communications Act of 1934. (2) The station identification requirements of Section 5.152 of the Commission‘s Rules are waived. (3) Operation in the 1850—1910 or 1930—1990 MHz bands requires prior frequency coordination with 2 GHz microwave users and PCS licensees to avoid interference. (4) Operation in the 824—849, 869—894, 901—902, 930—931, or 940—941 MHz bands requires coordination with cellular and/or PCS licensees to avoid interference. (5) Operation in the 896—901 or 935—940 MHz bands requires coordination with local SMR licensgsees to avoid interference. (6) Operation in the 1435—1535 MHz band requires coordination with the Aerospace and Flight Test Radio Coordinating Council (AFTRCC) to avoid interference.

("EMS"), we are submitting herewith a request for Special Temporary Authority ("STA") to commence operation of a new station in the experimental radio service during the pendency of prcfie_:_SEi_rig’l_aflQe_____, 56759(&"?7 Commission of its application for a new station on FCC Form 4427 The application is being filed simultaneously with this request for an STA, and a copy of it is attached hereto for the Commission‘s convenience. As explained in the application, EMS Wireless, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experimental radio license in order to test antenna designs for cellular, PCS and similar communications services, as well as spot checking antennas to ensure conformity with established specifications. EMS has a number of customers who would like to begin immediate testing of their antennas. Expedited testing will, in turn, benefit the public by expediting manufacture and distribution of antennas to satisfy the public‘s demand for increasingly popular cellular, PCS and similar service, and ensure that antennas meet quality standards. EMS believes that the public interest will be served and that no entity will be harmed by grant of the instant STA. Because of the very low power (1 watt) at which tests will be conducted and the terrain of the test area, EMS is highly confident that the test program for which the STA is sought will not interfere with any other station.
