You are advised that the Commission is unable to grant your application for the facilities requested. The
control portion of the D-FEND System interrupts the radio operation of the target drone. The FCC is not
authorized to approve testing and operation of this type of system that takes over the control channel.
These systems can only be authorized by NTIA for military or federal agency users.
