               Form 442 Application Seeking to Modify the Facility Licensed Under
               Experimental Call Sign KA2XZE

Dear Mr. Wright:

        We are transmitting on behalf of our client EastWest Communications, Inc. (EastWest),
is the above—captioned FCC Form 442 application seeking to modify the facility licensed under
call sign KAZXZE. Specifically, the application seeks (1) to increase the output power from 40
watts to 500 watts and (2) to increase the effective radiated power (ERP) from 40 watts to 80
watts for frequency bands 535—1606.6 kHz and 85—108 MHz. Accompanying the application is
an FCC Form 159 fee form and a check made payable to the Federal Communications
Commission in the amount of $45.00 to cover the filing fee.

       We have enclosed a copy of the most current authorization for easy reference. Also
attached to the application is an Exhibit A which addresses parts of questions 4, 10 and 14 on the
application.

        We trust the Commission will find the application package to be in order for review and
processing. In the event that additional information is required, please communicate directly
with the undersigned.
