Dismissal of Defective Experimental License Applications

The Office of Engineering and Technology Experimental Licensing Branch (ELB) has conducted a
comprehensive review of pending applications in the Experimental Licensing System (ELS) database
and compiled the following list of those found to be defective. In general, these applications are
defective due to missing or obsolete information in the application. The staff has been unsuccessful in
contacting the applicant by telephone and or mail to reconcile the deficiencies. It is the responsibility of
the applicant to maintain a current address of record with the Commission. See Section 1.5 of the
Commission‘s rules. Therefore, these applications are unable to be processed and granted. Accordingly,
we are dismissing the following applications without prejudice. See Sections 0.241(c), 5.65 and 5.67(b)
of the Commission‘s Rules. This action will become effective 30 days from the date of this notice.
Applicants may contact ELB during this timeframe to resolve any deficiencies and receive a license
without submitting an additional filing fee.

For further information, contact Jim Burtle, Chief, Experimental Licensing Branch. Mr. Burtle may be
reached at 202—418—2445, by e—mail at jburtle@fee.gov, or by writing to:
