Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Ducommun is developing an across the road radar (Planned model number SSC-35019910-01) that will operate at 34.7 GHz and emit 5 mW of power. We need to test the unit in enviroments outside of the laboratory to verify correct operation before submitting the unit to the test lab for FCC certification under Part 15 of the rules.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The unit is a low power doppler vehicle speed radar to be used at the side of the road and it will measure vehicle speed in the different lanes. This unit falls under Part 15 of the FCC rules.
