The use of the radio facilities described herein are necessary to perform testing of Mobile low slow Counter UAS integrated defense system (MLIDS) vehicles.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Completion of testing of Mobile low slow Counter UAS integrated defense system (MLIDS) vehicles. The Applicant requires an STA to continue to operate Rajant radio to complete MLIDS vehicle acceptance testing. No jamming will be conducted. The radio system in question is already developed, however, further testing is required in connection with the testing of MLIDS vehicles being developed for the U.S. Army. The two MLIDS vehicles under development need to share data, and the Applicant needs authority to operate the Rajant radio facilities described herein to enable such data sharing to complete vehicle acceptance testing on the vehicles.
