(b)： We think that early introduction and diffusion of backward and forward looking radar system can
greatly contribute to improvement in the convenience and the safety of the vehicle in the U.S..

For early introduction and diffusion of the system, it is necessary to acquire data to verify and validate the
system in U.S.. Since the system development time is limited, the data needs to be acquired in parallel in
two or more areas in cooperation with the automaker in the U.S..

For this reason, about 50 sets of the number are needed.
Moreover, in order to evaluate every model, about 50 sets of the number are needed, respectively.

We apply for the addition of a license for the purpose of improvement of the convenience and the safety of
the vehicles in the U.S..

(c)：We consider that data acquired through the experiment will prove the effectiveness of backward and
forward looking radar system system.

In addition, conducting the experiment will result in offering the system which is closely-matched to the
transportation condition in the U.S..
