Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A modification of the previously approved STA is requested: the 145 MHz Amateur band Stensat beacon radio is to be removed from the license and replaced with the in-house built 401/402 MHz Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C) transceiver. Current launch date of the Antares (formerly Taurus II) rocket is for No Earlier Than December 2012.
