Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application requests authority to add two Earth station locations as points of communication for the currently licensed Dove 1 satellite (call sign WF9XKA, file number 0898-EX-ST-2012).

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Two Earth stations are to be added to increase the reliability of the ground station network. Mission lifetime is approximately two weeks, but a longer duration for the STA is requested to accommodate launch delays.
