Figure 1: Diagram of one of the antennas used for our research project. The antennas are three-element
yagis atop temporary poles supported by guy wires. They are modified versions of amateur-radio antennas
(Hy-Gain LJ-103b). Eight such antennas in a line form an array with a main beam directed toward Puerto
Rico.
