                                       Commlabs, Inc.
                         Notification Pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 5.77(b)
                                     Call Sign WF2XLW

                                          May 2012

Commlabs Inc. (“Commlabs”) is authorized to operate experimental transmitters in and
around Santa Clara, California pursuant to experimental authority issued under File No. 0185-
EX-ML-2011. The experimental license authorizes Commlabs to operate test transmitters on
various frequency ranges and bandwidths within the 919.75-927.75 MHz band, including
authority to operate using the entire 8 MHz as a single channel.

Pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 5.77(b) of the Commission’s rules, experimental licensees may
make discrete changes in the emission characteristics of their experimental operations without
specific authorization from the Commission provided that such changes will not exceed the
maximum emissions envelope established in the existing authorization.

Consistent with Section 5.77(b), Commlabs hereby notifies the Commission that it will
conduct additional testing under its experimental authority using three additional center
frequencies and bandwidths, each of which will be confined within the currently authorized
8 MHz of spectrum at 919.75-927.75 MHz. Specifically, Commlabs will additionally operate
using center frequencies of 926.102 MHz and 925.977 MHz, in each case with an occupied
bandwidth of 2.046 MHz, an emission designator of 2MO4W1D, and a power limit of 30 Watts
ERP. Commlabs will also additionally operate using a center frequency of 923.375 MHz, an
occupied bandwidth of 7.25 MHz, an emission designator of 7M25W1D, and a power limit of 30
Watts ERP.

Each of the three new signals will operate within the maximum emissions envelope
already established by the authority granted to Commlabs to operate using the entire 8 MHz of
spectrum at 919.75-927.75 MHz. Therefore, the use of Section 5.77(b) notification procedures is
appropriate.

Should the Commission have any questions regarding this notification and the utilization
of the specified additional center frequencies in connection with this experimental authority,
please contact us.
