This STA license is necessary and will serve as the necessary approval for the temporary testing, development and further refinement of connected vehicle technologies. These technologies serves the public good as they have the potential to increase traffic safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Type of operation that will be performed as a result of this STA grant is the on-site testing for C-V2X and DSRC devices in a live traffic environment within the City of Austin Test bed. It will also include interoperability, conformance and cyber-security testing conducted by OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratories (OATL) personnel
