Request for Experimental license

Cisco Systems has three vehicles that are being specially equipped with mobile land
radios for both demonstration purposes at various trade shows as well as to provide
emergency disaster communication services when loaned out to various emergency
response providers in times of crisis.

At eh trade show scenario, the radios would be operated with in the requirements of Part
5 of the rules under Cisco operation. All frequency coordination done by Cisco in this
case

In emergency operations, the radios will be operated under the control of the emergency
provider. The manufacturers will be responsible for addressing the certification issues
for their products per FCC regulations.
