                                     Experimental Objectives
Cisco System, Inc. is developing an experimental enterprise cellular voice/data trial for private corporate
networks, using the product developed by JetCell, Inc., a Cisco partner company. Cisco is seeking to
obtain the experimental license so that it can commence Alpha testing for the first product, ViperCell,
developed by JetCell. The experimental license is intended to allow Cisco to test the functionality of
ViperCell product in a live environment such that the operators may observe how the system behaves in
real corporate environments, prior to the widespread deployment within their network.

The ViperCell is a combined in—building cellular base station and IP router for the enterprise to address the
enterprise voice and data communications need. The ViperCell enables licensed wireless operators to offer
their corporate customers cost—effective access to all corporate voice, data and fax services and integration
with an existing PBX, LAN, VPN, VoIP and the Internet. The unit is a very innovative solution that ties
together the world of the Cellular operator, the corporate network, and the Internet domain, providing
cellular operators with an extremely cost effective solution for the enterprise network as well as the
operator‘s. The ViperCell uses standard—based cellular technologies such as GSM, TDMA, and CDMA to
enable roaming outside the corporate premise, facilitating the "anywhere, anytime" office concept.
